3D printer creates living ears for transplants


You may have heard of 3d printers and how they can make a wide variety of products and art pieces from a computer.  Well, now the potential applications for 3d printing are ever expanding and now include living, that's right, living tissue.  Some experts have estimated that within 10 years, 3d printers will be able to print whole organs that will have almost no rejection for patients.  With the emergence of this type of technology, organ donor lists may become a thing of the past, like brain surgery using rocks and flint chisels.
